Expressions of Interest for Choreographers to Work with One Step Beyond Dance Company
One Step Beyond is the youth dance company of the Marian McDermott School of Dance, Torbay, Auckland. The company mission is to foster the creative spirit, inspire and extend a select group of dedicated, committed and talented teenage dancers so they continue to grow and develop as performers and choreographers.
Specialising in contemporary dance the company has performed at a wide range of community events such as Tempo Dance Festival, Parnell Rose Festival and the Capetown to Cairo Festival. Dance works are choreographed by mentored company members and by experienced guest choreographers from the contemporary dance community.
One Step Beyond invites expressions of interest from choreographers who are interested in working with them. Company sessions run on Saturdays from 12.00pm – 2.00pm during school terms. Positions are available for Term 1 2010 from Saturday February 13th – Saturday March 28th and for Term 3 from Saturday July 24th – Saturday September 25th.

Back in Motion provides Physiotherapy and Pilates instruction and is open from Monday - Friday, 8am - 6pm; Saturday 9am - 1pm. Pilates is a great help in developing control, balance, posture and flexibility in all dance students.
