Waitangi Day Festival 2010: looking for talent...

The Waitangi Day Festival, which is hosted in Kaiapoi, is a free Waimakariri community event. With large crowds, good food, great entertainment and perfect weather the festival is a pleasant day enjoyed by all.

In 2010 we will have a special performance section known as:-

!!! Waimakariri Has Talent !!!

We are looking for 12 acts to perform … We are looking for soloists, duos, bands, dance groups and ethnic/cultural groups and would particularly like to hear from any choirs, singing groups, drama groups, schools or sporting clubs to perform ‘live’ to an audience of between 3000-5000 people.      

We are encouraging ALL local talent to send a letter, text or email to find out more information on how to be a part of this awesome free community event. We want the festival to be the biggest and bestest festival yet.  Everyone is invited, regardless of age, to audition to perform on the BIG stage ‘live’ at the Waitangi Day Festival next year.
