DANCE PROFESSIONAL, PERFORMING GROUPS

Description of Work: Teaching and Performing flamenco

Brief Repertoire/ C.V.: Rebecca Cookson has been dancing Flamenco since 1995.  She has worked with a number of visiting flamenco teachers/dancers from Australia and Spain and has been coached by former Flamenco dancer Margot Rodriguez-Childerstone.  She also studied at Carmen de las Cuevas in Granada in 2004.  She dances traditional styles of flamenco including Alegrias, and Tangos/Tientos.  She also teaches popular non-flamenco dances Sevillanas and Fandangos de Huelva for beginners.

Current Work: Teaching Flamenco and performing at parties, weddings, schools, festivas and charities.

Future Plans: Establish a studio of Flamenco and Spanish dance.
